The course IAT 338 Interactive Objects and Environments is a practice oriented course in which students learned all aspects of building an interactive artifact or environment. Students were required to combine hardware and software in hybrid prototypes to convey their idea. My job as a teaching assistant was to assist Prof. Ron Wakkary in the lectures and to provide feedback and technical assistance for the students. You can check out the online portfolios of the students from the course on this website. Each student was asked to present themselves as a designer and present their work from the course in their portfolio. Below are a few selected pictures of the final project showcase at SIAT and the whole group album can be found on flickr.
