This is me.
Interaction design researcher. Sports enthusiast. Explorer of the PNW. Reads everything from Douglas Adams. Does understand Schwyzerdütsch.
My name is Markus and I’m an interaction designer/researcher interested in projects that positively shape our relationship with technology, as well as projects that involve the creative use of code and making. I am currently a Sessional Instructor at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design and also work as a project lead in the Health Design Lab.
My background is in interaction design and I hold an MA from the School of Interactive Arts + Technology at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver in Canada and a BA from the University of Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd in Germany.
When not working I can most likely be found hanging from boulders, running, snowboarding, trying my hands on gardening or exploring the Pacific Northwest.
So this is me. If you have any questions or just want to chat please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
